This installation, a collaboration among Tufts Digital Collections and Archives, Tufts University Art Galleries, and the project team, educates the Tufts community about the presence and transformational contributions of Black leaders at Tufts over the course of more than 50 years. Located on the main floor of Tisch Library, the installation includes text, image, and audiovisual assets drawn from Tufts Digital Collections and Archives, as well as newly commissioned video portraits of Bernard Harleston, Marilyn Glater, Bobbie Knable, Vivian W. Pinn, Lonnie Norris, Lisa Coleman, Joanne Berger-Sweeney, and David R. Harris.
The installation opens February 7, 2022.
